I spent a whole day a few months ago making Lizzie’s closet A Closet Fit for a Princess.
And it was worth it too because it’s still perfectly organized!
I love that I took the time to paint the back wall to match her room. It makes the closet so “finished”!
I offered to do the same for Job, but he didn’t want me to and well – I need to save the time and money. So, we culled through his shirts, and got rid of the most of what we were “saving” in the top of his closet.
I eliminated his dresser last winter to give him more space in his tiny bedroom. This large 3 drawer organizer has held his 5 jeans, shorts, sock and undies.
I added the smaller 3 drawer unit on the top to divide out his undies, long socks, and short socks.
I measured his closet, and I am going to build in shelves on one side. The large drawers will perfectly rest on each shelf. This will create a built in dresser for him. This project is going on my summer list.
How about you? What have you done with your kid’s closets?
