Over the years I have learned to stock my summer pool bag at the start of the pool season to the brim.
As my kids have gotten older, my pool bag has needed to house less and less. Here is what I have in my pool bag this summer.
First, you all know how I LOVE direct sales right? Well, for my birthday I placed a WHOLE 31 gifts order BY MYSELF! SO um, yeah. I have A LOT of new bags. The special the month I ordered was this bag at half price. I thought it would make a great pool bag.
And of course I bought the matching cooler!
To keep my kid’s math skills sharp, We use coins at the the pool for the snack bar.
I roll the towels in my pool bag to add stability and clearly tell which towels are still clean and dry as the day wears on.
There is something about a pool that makes me get the munchies! So I like to pack one bag of something salty and crunchy.
Sometimes we grab take out or eat produce fresh from the store at the pool. The only thing we need – silverware!
I get migraines – A LOT. Heat and sun will bring one on for sure, so I always keep a visor in the car and the pool bag.
I used to think it was baloney that sunscreen expired – until Abby got burned one year. Now I always buy NEW sunscreen at the beginning of summer.
We are almost done with pool toys, but a few diving sticks and goggles can add an extra 30 -45 minutes at the pool in a pinch.
Our back hall coat storage is the perfect place for the kids pool towels. And this year I added a bucket of their swimsuits. It’s super convenient because our laundry is right of our back hall.
Mama’s swimsuits, cover up and extra bags are hung up and ready for the pool too!
So there you have it – one STOCKED Pool bag.
What did I miss? What is in YOUR pool bag?
