Last week, I talked about all the ways you can follow me. With the exception of the last two, everything was free!
As much as I love social media, email, Facebook lives, and my podcast, I know that a lot of you are looking for a clearer outline for how to live a more organized life.
I know that because, well, you told me! Over the years that I’ve been a professional organizer, I’ve heard over and over again that women just want to know what to do, what order to do it in, and what to do to maintain their progress.
After that podcast, and our insanely well-attended Holiday Blitz many of you jumped in and made the commitment to take back your homes.
This podcast episode is for you, and anyone else who is feeling the need for more accountability and more direction in your organizing journey.
I promise that this episode isn’t one giant sales pitch. I do run a business, and my goal in that venture is to support my family and employ a team so that they can support theirs. However, my passion is helping busy women get their home and paper organized in one calendar year.
So, for the past seven years, I’ve been studying you. I’ve been listening to your struggles, following your successes, and analyzing your pain points.
I thought, if there was something that could help you, once and for all, what would that look like? What would it take to truly get you organized so that you could move on with your life and share your passion and gifts?
What we developed is the product of that analysis, and I’m happy to say it works. I’ve seen it, over and over again.
If you are ready to invest, I want to talk further about the four ways you can do that.
The Sunday Basket
Have I mentioned this one before?
I know, I know. But it works! That’s why I keep talking about it. If you don’t do anything else as a result of this podcast episode, set up your Sunday Basket.
If you aren’t storing all your actionable paper in one place, and going through it weekly, you’re bound to miss things. Appointments, ideas, to dos, permission slips, assignments, all of the above.
And we as women take that personally. I don’t know why, but we do!
If you are so overwhelmed that you don’t even know where to begin, start here. I have a 13-episode podcast dedicated to helping you set it up step-by-step.
You can use any supplies, of course, but I designed a box and slash pockets specifically for my system. They are very strong, color coded to match the system, and include a divider and mesh pocket for easy storage. The best feature of all might be that divider, because it ensures that your slash pockets will stand up for easy reading and grabbing.
If you don’t know where to start, start with the Sunday Basket. Prove to yourself that you can do it!
Organize Your Home
In the All Home program, I walk you hand in hand. Through every room, every shelf, every drawer of your home. We work through all of it together.
In one full year, your entire home will be organized.
If you are a woman in a dwelling, this program can work for you. From a homeschooling mom in a six-bedroom house to a single woman in a 900 square foot apartment, you’re covered.
Well, if you’re like me, you’re covered after three rounds. It took me three times going through my own program to really feel like I’d gotten the place organized. And the more I talk to women who have been through it, the more common I find that is.
The first round is focused on decluttering your spaces, then we organize them, then you enjoy the extra time and productivity as the reward for your hard work.
One of my favorite aspects of this program is the Productive Home CEO Planner, which is a gorgeous four-month planner that walks you through the program with weekly worksheets and goal setting materials that anchor the program into your actual life.
I love this program and the community along with it so much.
We start our next round on January 7th, but you can jump in any time. The seasonal wave of energy in January is just so good, it’s a great time to start. But you can jump in any time you like!
Sound good, but afraid of commitment? Try a free week and see if it’s for you!
Organize Your Paper
Once your home is organized, you naturally want to move on to your filing cabinet, your email, your hot mess room (where you put the stuff in the 100 day program you didn’t know what to do with), and your work.
If you walk down the aisles of any office supply store, you’ll see many products to help you make your filing cabinet pretty.
My goal with the Complete Paper Organization Program is not to make your files pretty at all–but to eliminate it!
I don’t mean eliminate it by going paperless. I don’t think our society is going paperless anytime soon, and I certainly am not. Paper is an inevitability of our lives.
But here’s the thing: your filing cabinet isn’t working for you. You aren’t using it. It’s just storing papers for you until enough time passes that you feel okay about shredding them.
My paper program walks you through all of the papers that come into our homes and gives you specific guidelines on what to do with them.
So, what do you do with all that paper? You move them into binders. Four of them, specifically: the Medical Organizing Binder, Financial Organizing Binder, Household Reference Binder, and the Household Operations Binder. These all include ebooks with instructions to help you, and they all come with the Complete Paper Organization Program.
You’ll also get the full Sunday Basket program, including the weekly 90-minute Q&A
If you’re thinking, well, how about all of the above? I need my actionable to dos, home, AND archive paper organized. Can I have one of everything?
You sure can, with All Access. And because I love you so much, All Access is $400 cheaper than if you bought each product individually.
Organize Your Work
While I believe that home organization is paramount, organizing your work is important, too!
It doesn’t matter if your work is a paying job at a corporation, managing a direct sales company, or homeschooling your kids. We have a workbox for all of you!
The return you get on all of these investments is exponential, truly. Not just in found money and earning potential, but in time, in peace of mind, and in freedom.
If you aren’t ready yet, or if your budget doesn’t allow it yet, don’t worry. I’m still here for you. Those free resources I talked about last week? They’re still here for the long haul.
In fact, the Out with the Old Decluttering Blitz is coming up on December 26th, and you won’t want to miss that free course, complete with Facebook Lives and a free webinar at the end!
The whole point of all of my programs is to get your organized so that you can move on. What would you do if one year from now, you had an extra 10 hours a week? That’s what I’m passionate about, and that thing is what I want to help you do.
If you tried any of my suggestions, I’d love to see them! Follow me on Instagram and join the Facebook group for more great organizing tips, then share your photos with me by tagging me @organize365 or using #organize365!
