When I decide to do something, I go all in.
If I’m going to learn how to swim, I jump in the deep end. There’s no shallow end for me. I don’t have time to dip my toes in first and test the water, so I go all in and figure it out when I get there.
I’ve always been this way, and I think it’s because I love the challenge of it. I love learning new things and trying to figure them out for myself.
Looking back on 2017, I realize it was the year of physical products. I began dabbling in physical products, and it was a massive part of my life, as well as my career. But this year will be different. I’m going to look back at 2018 and say to myself, “that was the year of live events.”
Like most people, I like to make goals for the year ahead. Not necessarily New Year’s resolutions, but achievable goals. In 2018, I decided I wanted to host a national convention and attend a few homeschool trade shows. I was also asked to speak at a direct sales leadership group in Vegas, and I said “YES” because this is the year of live events and travel!
The only problem?
I still haven’t held my own real live event.
But that’s about to change very soon because as you all know, I’m going to host my very own Organize 365 Conference in June!

Planning The Event
The idea for this event sprung on me during one of my previous podcast episodes where I talked with Melanie Moore about it. She had some fantastic suggestions that I couldn’t pass up.
I always knew that if I were to have a live event, it would be in Dallas. My main reason for this is because the Sunday Basket® Workshop Certified Organizers who would attend the event could also tour the plant where the Sunday Baskets® and binders are made – which is amazing!
However, I soon realized that many of my podcast listeners and fans of the business were also interested in attending the event even though they weren’t Sunday Basket® Workshop Certified Organizers. So, this meant I had to explain why the event will be taking place in Dallas rather than Cincinnati and the main reason for this is so that we can have the plant tour.
The Sunday Basket® Manufacturer’s Plant Tour
One of the most critical aspects of the live event, and something that I want everyone to be able to enjoy, is the plant tour. Being able to see where the Sunday Baskets® and binders are made and how they are put together will offer something new and unique into the mix.
When I was young, my dad would take me around the plant and it has always been one of my favorite memories. It was a great family day out and so it’s essential for me that the people coming to the event get to experience this for themselves.
If you’re a Sunday Basket® Workshop Certified Organizer, then you’ll be able to participate in the plant tour. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case for non-members – BUT, you’re still guaranteed a fun, interactive, and memorable experience at the Organize 365 Conference.
Why We Selected Dallas
Obviously, the main reason why the event is in Dallas is that I simply can’t move a manufacturing facility and having the tour is an essential part of this event.
Another reason why we picked Dallas is the airport. When you land, you’ll get a free shuttle to the hotel so there’s no rental car or Uber needed.
Dallas is centrally located and it’s easy to get to Grapevine from the airport. You can even take a free shuttle bus if you feel like doing some shopping before the conference.
What To Expect At The Event
The conference is going to be a combination of three things. It’ll be like going to a direct sales conference in its exclusivity and professionalism, but it will also be like attending a middle school field trip – it’s fun!
The third thing I would compare the conference to is a women’s retreat in the sense that it will be introspective, deep, and will encourage you to look at your life differently (in a good way!).
Most importantly, the Organize 365 Conference will be transformative.
The good news is that we still have tickets if you’d like to come. So be sure to grab yours before they sell out! To buy your ticket, just click here!
