You may remember the Lisa Glossary episodes that would air each January. I released these episodes because as time went on and Organize 365® grew, I needed everyday words to explain the systems and products I offered. Anna is here asking me questions about Golden Windows and finding one’s uniqueness.
Lisa Glossary
You may have heard of a slash pocket, a Sunday Basket®, proactive procrastination, or even prospective memory. I have never known boundaries so why wouldn’t I make up my own vocabulary? I’m the only game in town telling you to write everything down on a note card, throw it in your Sunday Basket® and don’t worry about it till Sunday. These words give me a way to explain something differently to you. Think of a comedian. They take something that bugs you, explains it, and you laugh instead of feeling angry. That’s what the Lisa Glossary helps me to do. So I’ve pulled language from my experience in teaching, direct sales, working with people in government and the Military and it helps me teach you. Think of Organize 365® systems as courses that are designed by a seasoned teacher who relates it to scenarios that you understand to teach you HOW to get organized and be productive.
Golden Window
Golden Windows are when things line up and you unexpectedly have a unique opportunity of time, energy, and opportunity. I came up with this term from observing when clients would reach out to get organized. I soon realized a common time for what would become known as a Golden Window, is when your last child goes to school. You’ll know you are in a Golden Window or one is coming when you start to when you have unrest of energy mixed with extra time, money, cognitive capacity, or emotional resources. As one season of life winds down, like kids at home, you will start to look for what’s next. Now that the kids will be in school, you ask yourself “What do I want?” However, not all Golden Windows are positive. You may get sick or settle an estate. All are transition times when one season is ending and there is anticipation for the next.
There are communal Golden Windows at the end of December, in May (Maycember), and August. In the US we are all conditioned to this cycle of energy due to attending school for generally 13 years. We anticipate the new school year and get ready, then we know it’s a new year and get excited about new goals (which wanes quickly!), and then May in the anticipation of summer. Again experiencing transition and off to a new project or phase of life.
Finding Your Uniqueness
Very few people will tell you no but no one will tell you yes! I love to make new things. In the pursuit of of my uniqueness it forces me to level up and make a new thing. I taught the Sunday Basket® system but then due to questions and demand I had to learn how to manufacture and sell Sunday Baskets and Slash Pockets to provide a functional operational system for you in your home. Anna asked what uniquenesses I have found about myself. As a life long learner I have the ability to observe the American lifestyle and pull it all together. I understand how current global events impact the biggest economic entities, our homes. The goal is to get you as organized as you want to be so you are left to struggle with what to do with all your extra time. In that struggle, you get to discover what you are uniquely created to do. Organize 365® has the 2 day Embrace experience to help with this. We stop dreaming somewhere along the way. Now is your time to dream, what do you want?
